Giuseppe Scarampella, 1838-1885

Giuseppe Scarampella (1838-1885) was born in Brescia, and his father Paolo Scarampella was one of Nicoló Bianchi’s students. Giuseppe had been worked in several places such as Brescia and Paris, and he had moved to Florence after living in Paris for a short time. His works were delicate and full of personal style, and often used red varnishes.
