本資料庫收藏: Violin (c. 1796)
Carlo II Bergonzi (1757-1836), the third generation of the Bergonzi family, is the son of Zosimo Bergonzi and the younger brother of Nicola. Carlo II Bergonzi began making violins around 1780, during which his works are quite similar to those by Nicola. Later, he changed his style dramatically. Although he still followed his grandfather’s model in violin making, his works are closer to the style of Omobono Stradivari.
